Two weeks go by, there's no update on the RMA page even though USPS had confirmed delivery. To eject any external drive, you can use Finder. You must be booting the computer from the Recovery HD partition, a USB stick with the Recovery HD partition files on it, Internet Recovery system or a OS X install DVD to do this. as this isn't my first rodeo with this kind of thing. One can be seen with the Western Digital software tools, but in reformatting it, the drive just stalls for hours.
